The Pump Room opens at Great World City

 
 
 
Fans of the popular microbrewery, bar and bistro which first opened in December 2006 at Clarke Quay will be pleased to discover the second bistro and bar in Great World City, a popular mall and office block located in the city.  This outlet which opened on 19 June 2008, offers the same casual vibe as the flagship, with emphasis on an extensive lunch menu to meet the working crowds demands for a quick and affordable bite.  In addition this all-day destination is an ideal pit stop for shoppers and nearby residents to relax throughout the day, and in the evenings to listen live music.
 

The Bistro - Contemporary Australian with extensive lunch and dinner menusThe menu is designed by Consultant Chef Karl Dobler who has vast experience in Modern Australian cuisine and has worked in renowned restaurants in Switzerland, Austria, Australia and Singapore.  Guests can expect Australian-inspired specialities bursting with seasonal ingredients and sparkling flavours.  Unlike the Clarke Quay flagship, there are seperate lunch and dinner menus available at this outlet.

Regulars will also be happy to know that The Pump Room's all-time favourite main courses as the ever-popular Steak & kidney pie, and Fisherman's basket as well as desserts such as Soft centered pavlova with tropical fruits & pasionfruit curd and Stickydate pudding remain.

We also offer Sunday Brunch from 10.30pm to 2.30pm
 

Guests can look forward to a range of brewed beers brought in from the microbrewery at Clarke Quay. The beer is unpasteurised and unfiltered, and has no added chemicals or preservatives. This means guests enjoy the great taste of fresh, natural beer.

Besides offering world class beers, The Pump Room also serves an excellent selection of wines with an emphasis on choice picks from Australia and New Zealand. In an effort to make quality wines accessible to customers, the microbrewery and bistro offers a good variety of wines by the glass – a range which includes top scoring Gold Medal winners. A comprehensive menu of house pours, signature cocktails and bottled beers is also available.
